Our team of dedicated and experienced outreach workers can provide practical and emotional support to families living in Runnymede with children up to eleven years old who may be experiencing short or long-term difficulties. We provide advice and guidance and we can also signpost and refer families to local services, groups and charities that could also offer help. We have a good knowledge of the local area and the community resources which are available.
When families are referred to us, we work with them to complete an assessment of what is going well for them and what they may be struggling with, and together we create an action plan to improve family life. We organise and attend meetings with the family and we will liaise with schools, early years settings and other organisations who can provide early help. Our aim is to provide support to families, empowering them to address various challenges to reduce problems and risks.
The outreach team will liaise with other services that can provide mental health, housing, bereavement, domestic abuse and financial support, guidance for families who have children with additional needs and more. Additionally, the team has a wealth of professional expertise in parenting advice and child development. Our support can be face-to-face, via telephone or Zoom.
